Giants | Cole Beasley reuniting with Brian Daboll    Fri Jul 21, 02:28 PM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Bills) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New York Giants on Friday, July 21. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Footballguys view: Beasley can be there as a steady target from the slot, and he gives the Giants more veteran depth at the position. He was considering retirement if he did not find a new team, but the connection with Daboll came through. The Giants have a nice group of talent at the position, but guys like Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard are coming back from injury. We'll see if Beasley can make the 53-man roster.

NFL | Cole Beasley has workout scheduled    Thu Jul 13, 12:26 AM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Bills) said he is scheduled to work out for an undisclosed NFL team Friday, July 21.

Footballguys view: Earlier this year, Beasley took to Twitter to say that he would retire if he wasn't on a team by training camp. He doesn't have much in the tank left after bouncing between the Buccaneers and the Bills in 2022, but some team could be interested in him as a backup slot receiver.

Bills | Cole Beasley re-joining Bills    Tue Dec 13, 09:16 AM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Buccaneers) came out of retirement Tuesday, Dec. 13, and is expected to sign with the Buffalo Bills' practice squad.

Footballguys view: It won't take long for Beasley to get on the field as he knows the offense like the back of his hand, and he's got strong chemistry with QB Josh Allen. The Bills could move Beasley into the slot and take WR Isaiah McKenzie out of the pecking order. We'll see if Beasley can get activated from the practice squad first, so most all Fantasy GMs will leave him on the waiver wire for now.

Buccaneers | Cole Beasley retires    Wed Oct 5, 12:55 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Cole Beasley retired Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Footballguys view: Beasley played in a couple of games for the Buccaneers this year after he was an emergency addition to the roster. He was a consistent slot presence for the Bills, and that's how most will remember him as a player. The Buccaneers now might be in the market for a veteran receiver.

Buccaneers | Cole Beasley elevated for Week 4    Sat Oct 1, 02:31 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Cole Beasley was elevated from the practice squad for Week 4 on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Buccaneers | Cole Beasley elevated for Week 3    Sat Sep 24, 12:38 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Cole Beasley and OG John Molchon have been elevated from the practice squad for Week 3, the team announced on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Footballguys view: That didn't take long. Beasley is a seasoned veteran who just signed with the Buccaneers earlier in the week. Now, he's called up to the active roster and could be in for some targets in Week 3 against the Packers. The Buccaneers have WR Mike Evans suspended, with WRs Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, and Russell Gage all banged up to varying degrees.

Buccaneers | Cole Beasley could see some action Week 3    Fri Sep 23, 01:25 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Cole Beasley could dress and play in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers if necessary, according to head coach Todd Bowles.'I think he could. He's quick, catches up to speed real fast. He understands the system and he's played and gotten a lot of reps under him,' Bowles told reporters Friday, Sept. 23.

Footballguys view: Beasley isn't a good play, but he could hit vs. the Packers despite having no experience with Tom Brady. If you're in a deep PPR league, consider adding Beasley.

Buccaneers | Cole Beasley signs with Bucs    Tue Sep 20, 08:25 AM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Bills) signed an undisclosed deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Footballguys view: Beasley was added to the team's practice squad, and it may not be long for him to get called up to the active roster. Last year with the Bills, Beasley caught 82 passes for 693 yards and a touchdown. We'll see what he does if/when he gets elevated to the active roster, but his skill set and reliability could be coveted by QB Tom Brady.

NFL | Cole Beasley receiving interest    Fri Sep 16, 07:10 PM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Bills) is receiving interest from multiple teams but is hoping to join a Super Bowl contender, according to sources.

Footballguys view: Beasley can still ball, and some team in need of a veteran slot receiver will sign him this season. Last year for the Bills, Beasley had 82 catches for 693 yards and one touchdown. There has been some speculation Beasley could return to Dallas and play for the Cowboys again (he played there from 2012-2018).

Cowboys | Cole Beasley open to Cowboys reunion    Tue Jul 26, 11:15 PM

Free-agent WR Cole Beasley (Bills) tweeted that he's open to a reunion with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, July 26.

Footballguys view: The Cowboys have an obvious need at slot receiver, so this makes sense. Tony Pollard was getting work in the slot during the offseason, so if Beasley lands in Dallas, that could limit a path to value for Pollard.

Browns | Cleveland not pursuing two veteran WRs    Sun May 8, 03:15 PM

Free-agent WR Will Fuller (Dolphins) and WR Cole Beasley (Bills) are not receiving interest from the Cleveland Browns at this point.

Footballguys view: The Browns are also not likely to bring back Jarvis Landry. We'll see what the team wants to do in order to add more wide receiving talent around QB Deshaun Watson. Fuller can still take the top off a defense when healthy, and Beasley can work underneath routes to get open. Both veteran receivers should find landing spots before or perhaps even during training camp.
