| Footballguys view: The former Florida International linebacker tore his ACL in Week 5 of the 2013 NFL season and while ACL rehab has progressed a ton, it can still take close to a year to be ready to play. For a guy about to turn 30, it might go even slower. The Jets have a lot of unproven and special teams guys at linebacker, so they'll hang on to see if Barnes can contribute. They will end up having to ask more of guys like Nick Bellore, Trevor Reilly and Ik Enemkpali early on. |
