Broncos | Time to look at depth running backs Sun Aug 1, 07:35 PM
With Denver Broncos RBs Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) and Correll Buckhalter (back) banged up, the Broncos will need to take a further look at RBs Bruce Hall, Lance Ball, Kolby Smith and Toney Baker during training camp, reports Mike Klis, of The Denver Post.
Footballguys view: Baker is the most intriguing prospect of the group, a big, rugged RB with good speed for his size. |

Broncos | Sign 16 undrafted rookie free agents Mon Apr 26, 08:19 PM
The Denver Broncos announced Monday, April 26, they have agreed to terms with undrafted rookie free-agents WR Alric Arnett (West Virginia), RB Toney Baker (North Carolina State), DL Jaron Baston (Missouri), LB Devin Bishop (California), LB Korey Bosworth (California-Los Angeles), S Marcellus Bowman (Boston College), RB Chris Brown (Oklahoma), OT Paul Duncan (Notre Dame), TE Riar Geer (Colorado), OT Chris Marinelli (Stanford), S Kyle McCarthy (Notre Dame), TE Nathan Overbay (Eastern Washington), OG Michael Shumard (Texas A&M), DL Jeff Stehle (Wisconsin), CB Cassius Vaughn (Mississippi) and WR Landis Williams (Maine).
Footballguys view: He's a long shot to make an impact, but we like the natural ability of RB Chris Brown out of all of these players. Brown played in a RBBC with Demarco Murray in college, and is a good inside/out runner. He's not afraid to run between the tackles and knows when to make a cut outside. Brown is not the fastest back in the stable, but he's very instinctive and patient when waiting for his blocks to develop in front of him. |
