Footballguys view: Beasley is a classic slot receiver, while Armstrong is a journeyman deep threat, and Coale is a former fifth-round pick who battled injuries and has had to scratch and claw stay in the Cowboys organization. Coale is the most talented and worth a look in very deep dynasty leagues if he can make the team.

The Washington Redskins are working on a trade that would send WR Anthony Armstrong to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for RB Steve Slaton.

Footballguys view: Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan oversaw the Texans offense during Slaton's outstanding rookie year, so this is not a shocking development. Slaton would definitely gain value with the move if it happens, perhaps even enough to be worth rostering in typical leagues.

Redskins | Robert Griffin to work out with receivers    Thu Jun 28, 07:46 PM

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III said several of his receivers will be working out with him in Waco in the next few weeks. Griffin mentioned WRs Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Anthony Armstrong, Aldrick Robinson and Brandon Banks and TE Fred Davis among the players that will be taking part in the workouts.

Footballguys view: Fantasy owners should be warming up to RG3's prospects this year if they go with a QBBC approach. Griffin can be added in the mid 8th round and could end up being a near weekly starter. We like his fantasy prospects this year better than fellow rookie Andrew Luck as the Redskins have better weapons around Griffin.

Redskins | Jabar Gaffney, Santana Moss getting most snaps among WRs    Tue Dec 13, 09:47 PM

As expected, Washington Redskins WRs Jabar Gaffney and Santana Moss got the most snaps in Week 14 against the New England Patriots. Gaffney played 61 of the team's 74 offensive snaps, while Moss played 60. After that, there is a big dropoff, with WR Donte' Stallworth next with 37 snaps, and then WR Niles Paul with 18. WR Anthony Armstrong played 11, and WR David Anderson managed 10 snaps to round out the corps.

Footballguys view: Gaffney and Moss are both WR3/Flex level plays with WR2 upside for as long as Rex Grossman is throwing the ball well.

Redskins | Anthony Armstrong losing playing time    Thu Nov 10, 01:16 AM

Washington Redskins WR Anthony Armstrong saw his playing time cut in Week 9, losing opportunities to WR Leonard Hankerson. Armstrong met with receivers coach Keenan McCardell Wednesday, Nov. 9, to discuss. Head coach Mike Shanahan explained earlier in the week that Armstrong is having difficulty beating bump coverage, so Armstrong has been putting in extra time to fix the problem.

Footballguys view: Hankerson is more difficult to jam because of his size. He'll continue to get more looks while Santana Moss misses more time because of a broken hand.
