Ravens | Mark Andrews thriving with QB    Tue Aug 20, 01:42 AM

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews has been a 'touchdown monster' during training camp, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, and offensive coordinator Greg Roman said Andrews and QB Lamar Jackson are building a special relationship. 'The chemistry he's developing with Lamar, that's something you can't manufacture,' Roman said.

Footballguys view: Andrews built strong chemistry with Jackson last year when they were both rookies. He was a favorite target of Baker Mayfield in college at Oklahoma, and Andrews has looked like Jackson's favorite according to camp reports coming out of Baltimore in training camp. Consider the second-year tight end a TE2 for fantasy purposes, and clearly has has low-end TE1 upside because of that connection.

Ravens | Mark Andrews primed for big second season?    Mon Jul 8, 03:09 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews could be 'a featured receiving target' as a big body over the middle or even split out wide if offseason practices were any indication.

Footballguys view: Andrews has already built a strong chemistry with Lamar Jackson from the connection they built as rookies in 2018. Even though the Ravens have 2018 first-round pick Hayden Hurst on the roster, Andrews is the more intriguing prospect because of that chemistry and his skill set as a receiver. The Ravens are going to run the ball early and often, but we like Andrews as a low-end TE2 with upside in 2019.

Ravens | Mark Andrews emerging as a top target?    Thu Jul 4, 10:34 PM

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews was a 'weapon all over the field' during minicamp, according to Mike Preston of The Baltimore Sun, and Preston said Andrews was a 'favorite target' of QB Lamar Jackson inside the red zone.

Footballguys view: Andrews was a top target for Jackson last year...just like he was in college for some guy named Baker Mayfield. Even though the Ravens selected Hayden Hurst in the first round last year (and Andrews in the third round), Andrews is a favorite for the starting job in 2019. We'll watch this battle unfold in training camp.

Ravens | Mark Andrews not resting on laurels    Mon Jun 17, 10:34 AM

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews looks bigger, faster and stronger, in the opinion of beat writer Jeff Zrebiec. He made a ton of plays the last couple of weeks, according to Zrebiec.

Footballguys view: Andrews was the best rookie tight end for the Ravens in 2018. They selected Hayden Hurst in the first round last year but he was banged up and didn't impress in 12 games with only 13 catches as a rookie. Andrews played in 16 games and snared 34 passes for 552 yards and three touchdowns. We should see a TEBC featuring both Andrews and Hurst for Baltimore's run-heavy offense in 2019.

Ravens | Mark Andrews has an opening    Fri Aug 24, 11:54 AM

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews has a chance to start with TE Hayden Hurst (foot) out three to four weeks with a stress fracture in his foot.

Footballguys view: Andrews is a rookie (like Hurst) and can create mismatches as a receiver. A third-round pick out of Oklahoma, Andrews was one of Baker Mayfield's favorite targets in college. Andrews plays like a super-sized receiver and should not be asked to block. We love his dynasty stock but are not as interested in him in re-draft leagues as we were about Hurst.
