QUARTERBACKS
Andrew Luck $8,700 - Luck really showed his poise in last weeks come from behind win against the Texans and showed that he can put up fantasy points quickly as he he threw for 3 touchdowns in the second half alone. He has a very favorable matchup against the Rams and should be able to find the endzone for multiple touchdowns again this weekend. He is also benefiting from playing in the Sunday Night game and not having a price change.
Philip Rivers $8,100 - Although Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are the top options at QB this week they are also priced that way and locking them in can hurt your salary cap in other positional areas. Picking a QB like Rivers at a modest price could net you a nice reward as he gets a home game against the division rivals the Denver Broncos. With very little defense expecting from both teams in this matchup and with the Broncos ability to score quickly, Rivers is going to have plenty of opportunities to make plays and keep his team in the game. He is the perfect pick at QB if you are looking to fade either Manning or Brees.
Eli Manning $6,400 - This is a no brainer pick when it comes to picking your QB for 50/50 and head to head style of games as Eli Manning has one of the best passing matchups this week and is only priced at $6,400. The Raiders just surrendered 7 touchdown passes to Nick Foles last week and in many instances guys were left wide open down the field. Even with Manning's struggles this year with both Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks it looks like a good day to put some points on the board and take out some of their frustrations after a 2-5 start to the season. Some other positives in the Giants favor are that they are coming off of a bye week and have very little options in the running game currently. Hard to over think this value play.
Value Plays: Jake Locker $6,600, Josh McCown $5,800
RUNNING BACKS
LeSean McCoy $8,600 - McCoy has looked outstanding all season showing a quick burst and elusiveness to his game each week and once again found the endzone last week in a blow out style win. This week will be a different story for McCoy as he has a favorable matchup against the Packers and will be counted on to move the chains all day long. He could be in for a 30+ total touch type of game and with the big coming out game for Nick Foles last week, this week could be flip flopped and the Eagles may look to control the game on the ground and copy cat what the Bears did last week with what Matt Forte was able to accomplish against the Packers.
Reggie Bush $8,500 - The Bears defense is allowing big plays and a lot of points against over the past few games and with a division matchup the star players from each team will be counted on to make big plays. Bush has been one of the missing pieces on the Lions team and has noticeable made them a better football team when the trust him and find ways to get him the ball.
Le'Veon Bell $7,200 - The Steelers 2013 season has been an ugly one and one that has never seemed to get on track. Le'Veon Bell has been one of the few bright spots on the team when he has been on the field and when he is given the ball at a high volume the teams odds of winning have been increased. He has one of the best rushing matchups on the day and comes at a very modest price of $7,200 and has potential to be one of the lesser owned top 10 RB's this week.
Eddie Lacy $6,800 - Lacy has showed that he can hang with the best in the league and he may just be the best value play on FanDuel this week with a very modest price tag of $6,800. With the Packers having injury problems at the QB/WR/TE position they have leaned on getting the ball in Lacy's hands and letting him control the grind the games out. Lacy will be heavily owned in all formats this week at FanDuel because his price has failed to rise over the pass two weeks due to playing back to back night games and FanDuel has not increased his salary. This is your last chance to play Lacy at this price and you have to think that the Packers only chance of grinding out a win this week.
Value Plays: Ray Rice $6,600, Mike James $6,000
WIDE RECEIVERS
Dez Bryant $8,200 - Bryant's price took a pretty significant drop this week coming down to $8,200 from $8,800. The Cowboys and Saints game has all the potential to be a shoot out type of game and Bryant should be right in the middle of the score sheet. Calvin Johnson is the top WR this week but a price of $9,900 makes him harder to get into your lineup and taking Bryant at a bigger discount coming off a less production game may decrease his ownership in FanDuel games this week, which is always a nice bonus.
Vincent Jackson $7,100 - Jackson continues to be force fed the ball and is now the only star left on Tampa Bay's offense. He has a primetime game with a Dolphins team that has been all over the media this week, and the Buccaneers have a legitimate shot at pulling out their first win on the season. Having a player in the Monday Night game is always an added bonus, and having a player that sees as many targets as Jackson is even better.
Victor Cruz $7,000 - Cruz has really been up and down so far this season and the only reason I would recommend him in this game is because of the matchup and the amount of targets he gets each week. If you are picking Eli Manning as your QB it might be worth looking at using a QB/WR combo to try to hit a home run.
Andre Johnson $6,900 - Andre Johnson was back in a big way last week and is currently the heart and soul of the Texans offense. With both Foster and Tate banged up, the Texans have been forced to use their other playmaker more and it payed great dividends last week as Johnson had a fantasy day. His price stayed the same at $6,900 because of him playing in the late game and has to be highly considered when putting together your team this week.
T.Y. Hilton $6,000 - With Reggie Wayne going to the IR and ending his season two weeks ago, T.Y. Hilton is now in the driver seat for a majority of the targets in the Colts offense. Just like Eddie Lacy, Hilton is going to be heavily owned in all formats this week. He is the top WR on one of the leagues best offensive teams and is also coming off a 3 touchdown performance. Hard to pass up on Hilton's value this week.
Value Plays: Eric Decker $6,200, Torrey Smith $6,200, Cecil Shorts $6,000
TIGHT ENDS
Jimmy Graham $8,700 - It is hard to even consider another alternative when it comes to selecting your TE this week. Graham has been above every other TE all season long and is a lock each week in putting up numbers. His price tag should be more along the lines of Calvin Johnson's $9,900 salary and the nice thing about it is Rob Gronkowski is on a bye this week and Graham is a stand alone at the TE position and can be inserted with confidence.
Value Plays: Coby Fleener $5,400, Heath Miller $5,000
KICKERS
Matt Prater $5,400 - It always seems as if the Broncos get touchdowns over field goals but in a division matchup things can tighten up and every point matters. Look for Prater to kick 2-3 field goals this week with a few extra points in the mix.
Garrett Hartley $5,100 - Just like Prater and the Broncos the Saints can move the ball well and put a lot of points on the board. When it comes to the top two fantasy QB's on the week in Peyton Manning and Drew Brees it is not a bad option to consider both of their kickers for a chance at multiple field goals.
Value Play: Rob Bironas $5,000
DEFENSE
Tennessee Titans $5,800 - The Jaguars continue to have a nightmare type of season as Justin Blackmon is now suspended for the remainder of the season. They are going to struggle to find offense in this game and the Titans defense can take advantage of this especially if the offense builds any sort of lead.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers $5,400 - The Dolphins are coming off a very tough week off the football field and could be very vulnerable this week. I know the Buccaneers have yet to win a game but this Monday Night game has the makings for a dominant defensive effort and their first win.
Value Plays: Indianapolis Colts
