QUARTERBACKS
Andrew Luck $9,900 - With the Broncos playing on Thursday Night, the top QB spot of the weekend is up for grabs between the likes of Luck and Rodgers. You can't go wrong with choosing either QB but this Week you have to like Luck's matchup against the Steelers just a little bit more. Luck has quietly put together an incredible start to the season throwing for more than 300 yards in 6 of 7 games and having at least 2 touchdowns in every game so far this season. 300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns is pretty much a gaurentee as a floor for Luck every week and against the Steelers things should be no different.
Nick Foles $8,200 - Foles is a nice mid range option at the QB position and has a few things working in his favor this weekend. For starters he is coming off a bye week and should have plenty of time to game plan for the Cardinals defense that has been rather weak to start the season. Although Foles hasn't put up the huge numbers each week he has been very consistant passing for 1,628 yards and 10 touchdowns in the teams first 6 games. It would be hard to guess on a scenario where Foles doesn't end up with at least 2 touchdowns against the Cardinals this weekend.
Value Plays: Ben Roethlisberger $7,500, Carson Palmer $7,400, Teddy Bridgewater $5,400
RUNNING BACKS
LeSean McCoy $8,000 - McCoy has a tough matchup against the Cardinals run defense but at the same time he is coming off his best game of the season running the football and has had an extra week to let his body take a rest. The Eagles are thin at RB right now with Darren Sproles out this weekend, so it will be a full dose of McCoy and for $8,000 it is a fair price to pay even if the matchup is tough on paper.
Jamaal Charles $8,700 - With the Chiefs finally back to .500 football look for them to want to stay above that line and for them to do that they are going to have to put the ball in their best players hands over and over again. The Rams are a defense that you can pass the ball out of the backfield and catch them off gaurd, and that is exactly what Charles game is built around. I expect Andy Reid to come out and look to control this game right from the start and rely on his stud RB to do so.
Le'Veon Bell $8,400 - With the Steelers coming off the Monday Night game, they get the luck of not having any of their players salaries change on FanDuel. Bell arguable had his best game of the season as he rushed for 57 yards and added 88 more on 8 catches and a touchdown through the air. Bell should have plenty of room to run against the Colts defense and a 15+ point fantasy day is just the floor for Bell this weekend.
Value Plays: Andre Ellington $7,400, Alfred Morris $6,800, Doug Martin $6,600, Jerick McKinnon $5,800
WIDE RECEIVERS
Jordy Nelson $8,800 - The Packers and Saints game looks to be the matchup of the weekend and you are probably going to want at least one player from this game on your team and with the way Jordy Nelson is playing right now you have to like his chances against the Saints. As far as WR's go so far this season, Nelson is on another level and has converted his 73 targtets from QB Aaron Rodgers into 47/712/6 statline that only seems to increase in volume each week.
Brandon Marshall $7,400 - Marshall is by no means a safe play at the WR position these past few weeks, but he does offer a great deal of upside each week. This week is no different against the Patriots. The Bears have folded in some recent games and things are looking like they are on a downward spiral but that could change quickly with a solid victory in New England this weekend. For the Bears to win they are going to have to use the passing game to their advantage and Cutler and Marshall both need to get in sync with each other.
Jeremy Maclin $8,000 - Maclin is averaging over 10 targets a game so far this season and has shown the ability to break plays for the touchdown as he has found the endzone 4 games out of 6 this season. With the Eagles coming off of a bye Week and the team in a battle for 1st place in the NFC East with the Cowboys, they get a very friendly passing matchup against the Cardinals. If Maclin sees his season average of 10+ targets in this game he could be in for a very nice game.
TY Hilton $7,900 - Hilton is a target machine this season seeing 68 total targets through the Colts first 7 games. He is almost a lock to get 10 targets a game from Andrew Luck and he has yet to have a week where he has caught less then 5 receptions. The only downfal to Hilton's game currently is the lack of touchdowns as he only has 1 on the season but his 47 receptions and 711 receiving yards more than make up for that lone touchdown.
Sammy Watkins $7,300 - Everything is lining up for Watkins to have another huge game this week against the Jets. Last week he saw 14 targets and converted that for a very nice 9/122/2 statline and should have the ability to put up some really good numbers once again this week. It will be hard to fade Watkins and his upside this week against a Jets secondary that has struggled to defend the pass.
Value Plays: Larry Fitzgerald $6,600, Greg Jennings $5,500
TIGHT ENDS
Rob Gronkowski $7,200 - All season we have heard of the struggles of Tom Brady and the Patriots offense and yet the team is still 5-2. With a home game against the Bears, the Patriots could be in for a high scoring game and with every week that passes by you have to think Gronkowski is getting that much more healthy and is on the verge of a massive offensive game. Over the past 3 games Gronkowski has been targeted 30 times for 18 receptions, 262 yards and a touchdown. A 6/80/1 statline is looking like his floor in this type of game and his price of $7,200 is very reasonable.
Zach Ertz $5,400 - Coming off of a bye week you have to like the Eagles as a whole against the Cardinals defense that has struggled against the pass and has even struggled more against gaurding the TE position. Ertz has a good chemistry going with Nick Foles and although he doesn't see more than 5-6 targets a game, he always seems to make big plays and has averaged 16.1 yard per catch.
Value Plays: Jordan Reed $5,200, Travis Kelce $5,700
KICKERS
Justin Tucker $5,300 - Tucker has kicked at least 2 FG's in 5 of 7 games so far this season and has kicked a total of 15 FG's in 7 games. He is one of the best kickers in the game and with the Ravens looking to play a tight divisional matchup against the Bengals this week, look for him to have another multiple FG game.
Robbie Gould $4,700 - Gould is 8 for 9 on field goal attempts for the year and has been one of the more accurate kickers throughout his career. The problem with Gould right now is that the Bears are not giving him enough field goal opportunities but with a matchup against the Patriots it could be the week Gould sees 3+ FG attempts. He is a cheap price for your kicker and the Bears have showed that they can move the ball and stay close in games.
Value Play: Patrick Murray $4,600
DEFENSE
Houston Texans $5,100 - The news in Tennessee is that Zach Mettenberger will get the start this week for the Titans. This is the perfect kind of news you are looking for when you are trying to fire up a defense and the Texans are in a very good spot to make some big plays against the rookie QB. The Texans defense is averaging just under 2 sacks a game to go along with 1 INT a game through the first 7 Weeks. They also have 2 touchdowns this season so a game against the Mettenberger makes you think they grab 2-3 sacks, a pick and a chance at a touchdown.
Cleveland Browns $4,900 - The Browns defense have been underrated all season so far and have 13 sacks, 7 INTs, 1 fumble recovery, a safety and a touchdown in the teams first 6 games this season. It would be hard pressed for them to not put up a strong defensive effort this weekend at home against the Raiders.
Value Plays: New York Jets $4,500
