QUARTERBACKS
Aaron Rodgers $9,700 - In the past 3 games Rodgers has thrown 10 touchdowns and is looking more likely to get back to his 2011-2012 form where he was a top 2 Fantasy QB both season. Rodgers got off to a slow start after the first 3 games only throwing 5 touchdown passes but looks to be back to his normal self and has a nice matchup this week against the Panthers. Rodgers might be getting a little over looked this week to the likes of Manning and Luck as the top QB but should be considered over the two because of his matchup and the fact that the Green Bay running game has been struggling so much.
Colin Kaepernick $7,800 - All eyes will be on Peyton Manning on Sunday Night with a chance to overtake the record for all-time touchdown passes. With all eyes on Manning, Kaepernick might be the QB in the game that is the best pick for you lineup. Kaepernick comes at a fraction of price and the game could be one of the highest point totals on the weekend and Kaepernick is also coming off his best game of the season against the Rams where he threw for 343 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Value Plays: Ben Roethlisberger $7,500, Derek Carr $6,800
RUNNING BACKS
Giovani Bernard $8,900 - Bernard is currently listed as Questionable this week because of a shoulder injury that he experienced in last weekend's game. The injury is minor as he actually returned to action in that game and he should be a go this weekend against the Colts. This week a lot of the big DFS players are going to be on both Murray and Forte and rightfully so, but I like to take a small step back in price and look at guys like Bernard, Charles, and Bell. Bernard has shown that he can be a RB1 and offers so much upside with his catching ability out of the backfield. With the Bengals WR's banged up Bernard's value goes up significantly in a potential high scoring matchup against the Colts.
Jamaal Charles $8,500 - Charles gets a tougher matchup against the Chargers this weekend but you also have to take into account that he is now fresh coming off a bye Week. Charles is the Chiefs entire offense and in a division battle against the Chargers he will be seeing a heavy workload on the ground and through the air. At only $8,500 he seems like great value and should be in the same category as Murray and Forte as far as production goes.
Le'Veon Bell $8,400 - Bell has been one of the most consistent RB's on the season as far as yards and receptions go and is the perfect PPR RB option. The problem so far with Bell is that he has only found the endzone once in 6 games this year and that touchdown came on the first week of the season against the Browns. Bell gets a nice matchup against the Texans who have been giving up big plays to opposing RB's all season long and for the Steelers to get back to their winning ways at home they would be hard pressed not to rely on Bell in this game.
Andre Ellington $7,100 - Ellington is one of the best value RB's on the board this weekend and gets a decent matchup against the Raiders. Ellington has slowly posted a very impressive season so far with 305 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown to go along with 19 receptions for 188 yards and an additional touchdown through the Cardinals first 5 games. Breakdown those numbers and he is posting about 14 FanDuel points a week on average and he would be hard pressed not to put up at least 14 FanDuel fantasy points this weekend against the Raiders and makes a great play for only $7,100.
Value Plays: Darren McFadden $5,500, Bishop Sankey $5,500
WIDE RECEIVERS
Dez Bryant $8,600 - The Cowboys have a home divisional matchup against the Giants this week and with all the talk of DeMarco Murray's strong start to the season you have to think that the Giants are going to focus on stopping the run. The Cowboys might also look to limit Murray's workload a little bit and try to preserve some of his carries for later in the season. Look for the Cowboys to throw the ball on Sunday and it should all start with Romo looking in Bryant's direction as he has already targeted him 57 times this year for 36 receptions, 439 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. After 4 straight weeks with a touchdown reception Bryant failed to find the endzone last week against a tough Seahawks secondary. The field will be open up more for Romo and Bryant this week and he is looking like the top WR on the board.
Brandon Marshall $7,700 - Marshall has been a little inconsistent so far this season having 3 strong games mixed in with 3 poor games. Marshall is usually the complete opposite and always consistent in catching passes and putting up yards. Coming off a strong performance last Sunday against the Falcons with 6 receptions and 113 yards look for Marshall to push for the endzone this weekend against his former team the Dolphins.
Andre Johnson $7,000 - Andre Johnson is coming off his best game of the season with a 7/99/1 statline against the Colts. He is a nice option in PPR leagues but on FanDuel only getting a half a point per reception he always seems to be tough choice because of his lack of touchdowns. With the price of $7,000 in a game that Johnson is going to have to produce on the road in Pittsburgh he is well worth the price to roll out as your WR2.
Rueben Randle $6,500 - Even if Victor Cruz wasn't injured I would still recommend Randle in this spot. Before last Sunday's game against the Eagles, Randle had 3 straight games where Manning targeted him 10 times. He turned that into 17 receptions, 149 yards and a touchdown. Now with Cruz out of the picture Randle is going to have to step up his game even more and a double digit target game is more than likely once again.
Anquan Boldin $6,300 - Boldin is a nice WR3 option that can save you some money at the WR spot. I like pairing him up with Kaepernick in a game against the Broncos where the 49ers are likely going to have to throw the ball more than normal trying to keep up with the high powered Broncos offense. Boldin quietly has recorded a 32/397/1 statline this season and although not the huge upside you are looking for in GPP's he is a very safe play as a WR3 in cash games.
Value Plays: Andre Holmes $6,000, Marques Colton $5,500, James Jones $5,500
TIGHT ENDS
Julius Thomas $8,600 - The Broncos have played 5 games so far this season and Julius Thomas has scored 9 total touchdowns in those 5 games. This week they have a tougher matchup against the 49ers who always seem to play the TE position tougher than most teams. At the same time how do you not bank on at least one touchdown from Thomas? You have to pay up for him but he has been money so far this season.
Jordan Cameron $6,100 - The Jaguars flat out stink at covering the TE position and Cameron is coming off his biggest game of the season so far this season catching 3 passes for 102 yard and a touchdown. Cameron will be a very popular pick this week because of price, matchup, and his breakout game last week so for that he is a great cash game play but you might want to look for a contrarian play when it comes to GPP's.
Value Plays: Delanie Walker $5,900, Jordan Reed $5,400
KICKERS
Justin Tucker $5,400 - The Ravens play the Falcons this week and the Falcons are a team that have let offenses go up and down the field so far this season with ease. The Ravens are coming off a game where Flacco came out and put up 5 touchdowns before you could even blink. I don't see Flacco seeing 5 touchdowns once again this week but I do see him moving the ball well and setting up Tucker for plenty of field goal opportunities.
Brandon McManus $4,900 - With everyone looking at the Broncos to score plenty of touchdowns each week this could be the week where the struggle to find the endzone against the 49ers defense. The Broncos have very little running game right now so everything will be focused on Manning throwing the ball and the 49ers should be able to adjust and maybe stop a few drives and force the Broncos to have to kick 2-3 field goals. McManus has only had to kick 7 field goals so far this season and has made 6 of those but this could be the week where he gets a few more opportunities.
Value Play: Shayne Graham $4,600
DEFENSE
Seattle Seahawks $5,300 - Playing the Seahawks defense every week almost seemed automatic the past couple of seasons. Now with them struggling a bit so far to start the 2014 season they are quickly becoming an afterthought to those that have been burnt from paying up for them. They have a great opportunity to turn things around this week against a Rams team that are relying on a lot of role type players on offense. Look for the Seahawks to get back to their dominant defensive days once again and it could all start this week with a matchup against the Rams.
Cleveland Browns $5,200 - Any time any team plays the Jaguars you want to look at playing the defense. For the Browns this is true this week but also the Browns themselves have been playing much better football on both offense and defense and a game against the Jaguars this week could be a statement type of game for them. The defense as a whole has played well so far this season making 11 sacks, 4 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, 1 safety and a touchdown in their first 5 games.
Value Plays: Buffalo Bills $5,000
