QUARTERBACKS
Aaron Rodgers $10,400 - Hard to not just insert Rodgers into the top QB on the week even at the high price of $10,400. Rodgers has been playing like the MVP of the league so far in 2014 and has an incredible TD to INT ratio of 32 touchdowns to 3 interceptions. Rodgers has 13 touchdowns over the past 4 games and seems like one of the safest options at QB this week to throw for 3+ touchdowns. The matchup is great for Rodgers against the Falcons poor defense and it comes on Monday Night Football which allows you to sweat out your games.
Matthew Stafford $8,300 - Stafford is coming off his best game of the season posting 390 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against the Bears. With a healthy Calvin Johnson back for the Lions and Golden Tate producing at a high level it is safe to bet on Stafford once again this week in a home matchup against the Buccaneers. Stafford is among the best value at the QB position at $8,300 and comes with a lot of upside, he is a perfect stack option to combo with Calvin Johnson and hope for a multi touchdown game.
Colin Kaepernick $7,200 - Kaepernick has been very bad this season and because of that his salary is one of the lowest at the QB position this week. He hasn't had a multi touchdown game since Week 6 but all that could change against a very bad Raiders defense this week. Look for the 49ers to open up the playbook and try to get the offense back on track this week and get things rolling for the last 3 weeks of the season to try to make a playoff push.
Value Plays: Brian Hoyer $6,700
RUNNING BACKS
Eddie Lacy $8,500 - There is a fear that the Falcons will get behind early and that this game could turn into a blowout by halftime. The Packers are dominant at home and if they do get up early on the Falcons it could be an Eddie Lacy show all second half and he has the ability to break big plays for big yardage and to also get carries on the goal line. Lacy is a top 5 play at the RB position this Week and comes at a fair price of $8,500.
CJ Anderson $7,800 - The Broncos look to have found their man in the running game with CJ Anderson. Anderson has been running hard the past two Week's racking up 59 carries for 335 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. He has also added 6 receptions for 45 yards and an additional touchdown through the air. With the cold weather coming look for Peyton Manning to continue to trust in his new stud RB and ride him into the playoffs.
Frank Gore $5,700 - In a Week where FanDuel has tightened up salaries across the board it is harder and harder to find a starting RB on the cheap. Gore has been by no means electric this season and the 49ers as a team have struggled to run the ball all season. With a price of $5,700 you have to consider using Gore in a matchup against the lowly Oakland Raiders. Gore has only seen 20+ carries twice so far this season but in those two games he has totaled 257 yards and 2 touchdowns. It is hard to not see Gore having a scenario where he doesn't see 20+ carries in a must win game against a bad run defense and with his backup Carlos Hyde a little banged up. He is well worth a flier as your RB2 and is even in consideration as a full on RB position punt play.
Jonathan Stewart $5,200 - Playing any Carolina RB has always been a struggle in any fantasy football format over the past few seasons. One of the main draws of playing DFS is that fact that you can pick the week and matchup you want to roster a Panthers RB. If there was any Week that it is worth taking a chance on a Panthers RB it would have to be this Week against the Saints very poor run defense. Stewart is coming off his best game of the season as he rushed 12 times for 85 yards and added 2 receptions for another 25 yards against the Vikings last Week. With DeAngelo Williams dealing with a hand injury that will likely sideline him for the game, Stewart makes for a good play at his rock bottom $5,200 price.
Value Plays: Andre Williams $6500, Terrance West $5,200
WIDE RECEIVERS
Calvin Johnson $9,200 - Johnson has had a season that has been injury filled and it seems that after last Week's blowup game where he caught 11 passes for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns that he is back in the saddle as the top WR in all of football going forward. He gets a great matchup against the Buccaneers and has potential to deliver another monster game and it also helps that he gets a few extra days of rest in between games because of playing on Thanksgiving Day. Look for Johnson to be fully healthy and rested and ready to deliver in a big way for the Lions the last few Weeks of the season.
Julio Jones $8,700 - Jones is seeing a ridiculous amount of targets this season with nearly 11 each game. He is coming off a game against the Cardinals where he caught 10 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown and now gets to play on MNF against the Packers in a game where the Falcons will likely be playing catchup and throwing the ball down the field all night long. With Roddy White still being banged up, look for the passing game to be going through Julio Jones all game long.
Odell Beckham Jr. $8,200 - The Giants have took a nose dive on the season and the only bright spot on the team has been the emergence of WR rookie sensation Odell Beckham Jr. In only 8 games on the season he is averaging 6 receptions 87 yards a game and has 5 touchdowns to go along with those numbers. Add in the fact that the Giants face the Titans awful passing defense this Week and Beckham could be looking at a monster game with a statline that looks something like 8/100/1.
Josh Gordon $8,000 - Through only two games so far this season Gordon has been targeted 29 times and he has caught 15 of those for 195 yards. He has yet to find the endzone but that could change this Week against a Colts defense that has a knack for giving up a lot of points each game.
Value Plays: Cecil Shorts $5,700, Pierre Garcon $5,600, Doug Baldwin $5,500
TIGHT ENDS
Rob Gronkowski $7,700 - After seeing Jimmy Graham being targeted 0 times last Week it makes it hard to pay up for a top TE. The thing about Gronkowski is that he is almost matchup proof and in a big game against the Chargers on the road he will have to be involved in the offense for the Patriots to keep up. Over the past 8 games Gronkowski has caught 52 passes for 763 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Antonio Gates $5,600 - Philip Rivers continues to trust Antonio Gates week in and week out. There should be no change this Week against the Patriots who are one of the teams in the NFL that have troubles defending opposing teams TEs. Gates has 9 touchdowns on the season but he has also failed to find the endzone the last 4 Week's, look for him to get back into the endzone this Week in a high scoring back and forth type of offensive game.
Value Plays: Travis Kelce $5,300, Jordan Reed $5,300
KICKERS
Mason Crosby $5,000 - Crosby has been having a great season this year making 20 of 23 field goal attempts and kicking his share of extra points. With a home matchup against the Falcons, Crosby will once again have a strong opportunity at a multi FG game and he still remains as one of the best kickers in the game.
Value Play: Shayne Graham $4,500
DEFENSE
Detroit Lions $5,300 - The Lions defense looks to have one of the best defensive lines in all of football and a home matchup against the lowly Buccaneers offense makes for a must play this Week. If the Lions offense can jump out to a big lead look for the defense to also capitalize with some big plays of their own.
Value Plays: Kansas City Chiefs $4,800
