QUARTERBACKS
Aaron Rodgers $10,100 - With this game being one of the projected highest totals on the board at 54.5 points you have to think that it is safe to load up on offensive players from both sides. There is no safer play this week in my eyes than Aaron Rodgers coming off a 6 touchdown game against the Bears to a home matchup against an Eagles defense that has been known to give up yards and touchdowns to opposing QB's. Rodgers has thrown at least 3 touchdowns in 6 of 9 games so far this season so it is a pretty good bet that he delivers another 3+ touchdown performance this week in what looks to be a back and forth type of game on paper. Rodgers has 21 touchdowns over the past 6 games and has been really heating up of late and makes for a very safe cash game play.
Drew Brees $9,300 - Brees at home against a struggling Bengals team has the making for a nice option outside of any QB not named Manning, Rodgers, or Luck. Brees has had at least 2 touchdowns in each game this season besides the opening game against the Falcons where he only had one. Even when it looks like the Saints are going to focus more on a running attack, Brees always gets his yards and production through the air.
Cam Newton $7,800 - Newton had most of his success last week in garbage time against the Eagles as he threw a couple of interceptions and was sacked multiple times in a losing effort. He has not looked great so far this season but he should have a lot of people off him this week and makes for an intriguing play in a home game against the Falcons. The Falcons have been awful this season on defense and the Panthers are still fighting for the division lead and and have a good opportunity to get a big win and turn things around in the second half of the season.
Value Plays: Mark Sanchez $6,900, Teddy Bridgewater $6,600
RUNNING BACKS
Le'Veon Bell $8,600 - Bell only has 21 carries for a total of 56 yards over the last two games against the Ravens and the Jets but has also added 13 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. Bell actually has 55 total receptions for 466 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. He is the top PPR RB in the league this year and is seeing an insane amount of targets out of the back field with 66 in 10 games. That is an average of 6.6 receptions per game and those are numbers that can give you a fantasy advantage over some of the other top RB's. Bell has a nice Primetime matchup against the Titans on the road in a game that the Steelers might have to rely a little more on the running game.
LeSean McCoy $7,700 - McCoy had a dud of a game last week against the Panthers only posting 19 rushing yards on 12 carries. He did happen to snipe a touchdown on a first and goal from the 1 yard line. With Sproles now in town, the Eagles can remain more balanced on offense and the need for McCoy to carry the ball 25 times a game is less and less likely. If he was to see a high volume of touches, this week's game in Green Bay would be the perfect situation. The Packers have the ability to score a lot of points with their high powered offense and if the Eagles can establish a solid running game right from the start they will have a much better chance of winning. The Packers run defense has been known to give up big chunks of yards and if McCoy can't capitalize this week it might be time to start to worry.
Alfred Morris $7,300 - Everything is trending up for Morris currently as he has back to back strong performances the past two week's combining for 165 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. The best part for Morris this week is his home matchup against the Buccaneers who have not been good on defense at all. With Washington's pass offense struggling most of this season it is not out of the question to see them focus on the running game and give Morris a heavy dose of work and possible 20+ carries. If that is the case it is hard to see Morris going for any less than 100 yards and finding the endzone at least once.
Jeremy Hill $6,500 - The Saints run defense has had all sorts of problems in 2014 and Hill himself has had an up and down two game stretch the past two week's but at this price and the matchup it will be hard not to find a reason to roster him as a solid RB2 option. Reports are already coming in that Gio Bernard is likely to miss this week's game and it will be Hill running the show out of the Bengals back field.
Value Plays: Darren Sproles $6,100, Ryan Mathews $6,200, Shane Vereen $6,500
WIDE RECEIVERS
Jorday Nelson $8,900 - You have to like Nelson as a top 5 WR play this week against an Eagles defense that gives up yards and points to opposing pass offenses. Through 9 games Nelson has seen 84 targets from Aaron Rodgers and has converted them into an incredible 56/889/8 statline. He is about the best play at WR in cash games and if you can afford it make for a great combo to go with Rodgers at QB.
Alshon Jeffery $7,900 - It is no secret that the Bears offense is in a downward spiral but at the same time it makes for a lot of garbage time points for the offensive players. Jeffery has seen 20 targets over the past two games and with reports that Marshall is banged up heading into this week's game against the Vikings, Jeffery could be in for another double digit target game and put up some big fantasy numbers as a result.
Kelvin Benjamin $6,600 - I get that all of Benjamin's production last week came in garbage time as he caught two meaningless touchdowns. The targets are there for Benjamin as he is the main focal point in the passing game and Newton is going to continue to look in his direction even when he is dropping passes. The past two weeks alone Benjamin has been targeted 17 times and has only caught 5 passes for 88 yards and 2 garbage time touchdowns. Against the Falcons at home you have to think Newton will continue to give heavy targets to Benjamin and when in the redzone he is sure to be the main threat on offense. The price and matchup make Benjamin a nice option as a high upside WR3 type.
Pierre Garcon $6,500 - Washington is coming off a bye week and will be hungry to get their offense going once again. Garcon has seen a dip in production this year with 42 receptions for 458 yards and 3 touchdowns through the team's first 9 games. If Washington is going to turn things around the second half of the season they are going to have to look in Garcon's direction and get the ball in his hands and see what he can do after the catch.
Keenan Allen $6,400 - After a slow start to the season, Allen is starting to see more and more targets from Philip Rivers. Over the past 3 games, Allen has been targeted 32 times for 19 receptions, 178 yards and a touchdown. A divisional game against the Raiders and the fact that the offense should be fresh after their Bye Week, spells big things for Keenan Allen and the Chargers.
Value Plays: Andre Johnson $6,300, Michael Crabtree $6,300, Jordan Matthews $5,500
TIGHT ENDS
Rob Gronkowski $8,100 - Gronkowski might just be the most dominant player in all of football when he is on the field and healthy. Well he has both of those things going for him right now as he is about as healthy as we have seen in some time and he has a great matchup this week against the Colts in what looks to be a high scoring game. Brady and Gronkowski have hooked up 49 times for 663 yards and 8 touchdowns. Gronkowski is my favorite play of the Week and is well worth paying up for and banking on a multi touchdown performance.
Jimmy Graham $7,900 - If you are looking to go cheap at TE, this Week probably is not the time to do so. I would advice at paying up for Gronkowski or Graham in any cash type game you are playing. Brees was locked on to Graham last Week, throwing him the ball 13 times for 10/76/2 statline. Look for the Brees to Graham connection once again in a game that should have plenty of points.
Value Plays: Vernon Davis $5,300, Jordan Reed $5,200
KICKERS
Nick Novak $4,500 - Novak has not attempted a field goal in each of the last two Chargers games and that is why his price is at $4,500 on Fanduel this week. Look for him to have at least a couple of opportunities to kick field goals this Week against the Raiders. The Chargers should be able to move the ball well on offense coming off a Bye Week and as a result Novak should be set up with plenty of opportunities to put points on the board.
Shayne Graham $4,700 - Over the past 4 games, Graham is 7 for 7 on his field goal attempts. He is priced very low at $4,700 and should have plenty of chances to put points on the board in this Week's home matchup against the Bengals.
Value Play: Kai Forbath $4,800
DEFENSE
Denver Broncos $5,200 - The Broncos actually did not record a sack against the lowly Raiders last weekend after they got to the QB an average of 3 times the 8 games prior. Look for them to bring some pressure this Week against the Rams and get back to at least a 3 sack game and force a turnover or two. Once the Broncos offense builds a lead on offense the defense will have plenty of opportunities to play that to their advantage and create turnovers as the Rams will be forced to take chances down the field.
Value Plays: Washington $5,000, Atlanta Falcons $4,600
