This article will take a weekly look at players who are overvalued in a given week. Negative value is when a player offers more long-term value than he does for this week. The basis for this value will be the difference between the Top 200 forward, a look at the top 200 players with the whole season in mind, and the weekly rankings. Both of these are from the Footballguys.com subscriber content. An emphasis will be on the players with the largest differences between the season outlook and this week only. Also, a preference will be given to differences for the higher ranked players. Some of these differences will be due to injury, matchup of the week, or short-term situation. Now, let's take a look at this week's negative value players.
Quarterback

Ryan has not enjoyed the best of seasons in 2014. This week, he and the Falcons host the Cardinals in a huge game for the playoff chances of each squad. The Arizona pass defense is underrated and will look to contain the high-flying Falcons and put pressure on Ryan to turn the ball over.

Wilson's passing statistics have been lacking since the departure of Percy Harvin. The huge game on Thanksgiving night will toss one team out of the playoff hunt. We expect this contest to be low scoring and hard fought. The Seahawks field general will collect the rushing yardage but we project the 49ers to have something planned to slow down Wilson.
Running Back
Top 200 ranking: 5
Weekly ranking: 12
Difference: -7
Lacy has run well this season. His role could increase with the bad weather looming. However, the game against the New England Patriots should provide a stiff test for the Packers running game. We expect the two quarterbacks to pass heavily and not lean on the respective running games. New England is strong versus the run and will not allow many big runs.
Top 200 ranking: 13
Weekly ranking: 19

This has not been a great season for the tough-running Morris. He is not involved in the passing game and the very poor quarterback play has left the Washington offense one-dimensional and easy to defend. We are afraid this week's game against the Indianapolis Colts might get out of hand early and force Morris to the sideline in favor of Roy Helu.
Top 200 ranking: 16
Weekly ranking: 21

Bernard finally saw the field last week for the first time in quite a while. He should continue to split touches with rookie Jeremy Hill. The game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday should allow the Bengals to gain an early lead and run Hill often in the second half. Bernard will see more action in passing situations, and there should not be many for Cincinnati.
Wide Receiver
Top 200 ranking: 5
Weekly ranking: 10
Difference: -5
Gordon had quite the coming out party last week in his first action of the year. This week's game in Buffalo will be lower scoring. Many remember the seven feet of snow that fell on the city last week, forcing the game between the Bills and Jets to Detroit on Monday evening. But, the weather still may be a factor in this game. We do not see the superstar receiver topping the 100-yard mark with ease like he did last Sunday.
Top 200 ranking: 4
Weekly ranking: 8
Difference: -4
Sanders and the Broncos travel to Arrowhead to meet the Chiefs. This is a must-win game for Kansas City. The recent contests between these teams in Arrowhead have been lower scoring and the Chiefs have the defense to give Peyton Manning trouble. Sanders is still a fantasy WR1, just without his normal upside.
Top 200 ranking: 24
Weekly ranking: 34

Landry has quietly been one of the more impressive rookie wide receivers. However, the game in New York against the Jets will be low scoring. The Jets are a team limping to the offseason and have a chance to sting the Dolphins in defensive battle. There are few skill position players we think will excel in the game. There is also a chance that the weather will be a factor.
Tight End
Top 200 ranking: 10
Weekly ranking: 17
Difference: -7
Donnell and the Giants travel to Jacksonville to meet the Jaguars. We do not project Eli manning needing to pass often in the contest. The running game should lead the offense. The lack of pass attempts will impact Donnell.
Top 200 ranking: 7
Weekly ranking: 9
Difference: -2
The talented tight end is still very iffy for the big game in Kansas City. Even if he plays, we expect the gimpy ankle to limit Thomas' ability to pick up huge chunks of yardage.
