NOTE: This column is a living document and will be updated throughout the morning. Major changes to the content will be in red. Check back often for additions as gameday inactives are announced and lineup / depth chart changes are reported. I'll also be retweeting those reports with quick bits of analysis, so make sure you're following @JeneBramel and checking my timeline on Twitter.
It's a second consecutive week without many critical game time decisions. Many of the early week question marks -- Matt Forte, Knowshon Moreno, Zac Stacy, Darren Sproles, T.Y. Hilton, Kendall Wright, Ryan Mathews, Hakeem Nicks and Antonio Gates -- are listed probable after practicing fully on Friday.
Moreno, Wright, Mathews and Gates carry some risk today. All have injuries that could be aggravated during the game or have been limiting enough during the week that they could see fewer snaps than usual today. But everyone on the probable list can be used in fantasy lineups as you normally would. That includes Gates, who despite his lack of optimism on Friday, has a matchup that keeps him in the lower tier of TE1 today.
percy harvin | hip | doubtful
Harvin suffered a second episode of soreness in his surgically-repaired hip after last week's limited set of game snaps. He didn't practice this week and reportedly visited doctors, most likely his surgeon, to have his hip re-evaluated. Pete Carroll told reporters that there was nothing structurally wrong with Harvin's hip, but it's fair to wonder if this is normal post-operative soreness or evidence that Harvin is having new issues with impingement symptoms. We may know more in the next 48 hours, but consider Harvin doubtful for next week's game unless we hear something positive on Monday.
Fantasy expectation: Harvin will be inactive today.
michael crabtree | achilles
Crabtree was activated off the PUP list this week and is not listed on the injury report. The Niners don't plan to use Crabtree heavily yet and it's unlikely he'll see more than 10-20 snaps. He still needs to prove that his explosiveness and strength have returned and that he can hold up over his usual in-game workload.
Fantasy expectation: Crabtree is a consideration only in deep, superflex leagues. His floor is extremely low until he shows himself healthy and the Niners show they trust him in the game plan.
julius thomas | knee | questionable
Thomas isn't 100% yet, but improved as practice progressed this week. He's listed questionable but all indications are that he will start today. It's not assured Thomas will see his usual targets today, but he has too much upside to sit.
Fantasy expectation: Start Thomas as you normally would.
1030 ET: Adam Schefter reporting that Thomas' knee is "tight" and he may not play today. I'd now lean toward avoiding him. Too much risk of an early game concern if he's active.
jordan reed | concussion | questionable
Reed is listed questionable and was not fully cleared as of Friday's practice. However, the Redskins made him available to the media -- a sign that they've cleared him internally -- and he was expected to be cleared by an independent neurologist before today's game. A Fox report last night reported that Reed was cleared, but there's not been additional confirmation yet.
Fantasy expectation: Reed plays Sunday night, leaving some risk of a setback during warmups, but he's safe to trust and use as you normally would.
1125 ET: Adam Schefter reporting that Jordan Reed will play tonight. Always a risk of setback during warmups, but the independent confirmation from multiple sources is very reassuring.
deangelo williams | quad | questionable
There was "a lot of concern" about Williams on Friday, after he failed to practice all week. Williams has played without practicing in the past, but this looks like a week of rest. Jonathan Stewart continues to be limited in practice, as does Mike Tolbert, but there's enough smoke with Williams to expect he'll be inactive today.
Fantasy expectation: Even if active, Williams is unlikely to see his usual workload. Avoid him today.
Best of luck in your fantasy games this weekend. I'll be back on Monday morning to review all the Week 13 injuries in the Injury Rounds column. Follow me on Twitter @JeneBramel for breaking news and analysis during the games today.
