Strengths: Crick is a hardworking, all-around defensive end. He plays stronger than his size and is technically sound against the run and as a pass rusher. Though not an elite athlete, he's quick in tight spaces and has a very good motor.
Weaknesses: Durability concerns (torn pectoral, MCL sprain) dropped Crick down draft boards this year. His best fit is likely as a 5-technique 3-4 defensive end, but he relies more on technique than size and frame to hold up against the run. He'll likely need at least a year of seasoning before he's ready to play more than a rotational role in Houston.
