Strengths: Cox has the size and frame of a defensive tackle but the athleticism and skill to play defensive end. He has a very good first step inside and is strong enough to overpower interior linemen consistently. A great fit for Philadelphia's defensive front philosophy, he should get a chance to be an impact 3-technique defensive tackle very early in his rookie season.
Weaknesses: Cox is more of a flash penetrating player than an instinctive technician. When an offensive lineman is able to stop the penetration, Cox sometimes struggles with his pad level and can be pushed out of the play.
