Strengths: Irvin is the best pure edge rushing talent in this class. He has an explosive first step and knows how to flatten his body to turn the corner and close on the quarterback. He should be a great fit as a situational player that the Seahawks can move around the formation and create mismatches for opposing offensive lines.

Weaknesses: Irvin doesn't have the size to defend the run consistently as a base defensive end. His edge rush has been so successful that he's not needed to develop a set of counter rush moves.

2012 Outlook: Matchup DL3

Dynasty Outlook: Matchup DL2

NFL Comparison: Chris Clemons
