Quarterback
QB Brodie Croyle - KC - Croyle was inactive on Sunday due to his injured right shoulder after being listed as out on Friday.
QB Trent Edwards - BUF - Edwards suffered a concussion in the first half of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. He did not return to action - Edwards will be evaluated further during the week and tested until he can pass the NFL's "baseline test" before he can return to action. "He's responding, but he's still a little groggy," Jauron reported after the game. "Hopefully he'll be fine as time goes by. It's a good time to have a bye, heal some things up and get some work done."
QB Brian Griese - TB - Brian Griese was knocked out of the game with a swollen right elbow in the third quarter Sunday. "It's going to be all right," Griese said after the game (he couldn't grip the ball without pain after taking a direct hit on his elbow from a helmet). "The doctor doesn't seem to think that there's anything wrong structurally so that's a good thing." Coach Gruden didn't sound as positive: "Right now, we're concerned about Griese's arm, and we're encouraged by Jeff's progress,:" he said after the game. Evaluations are ongoing on Griese's elbow and on Garcia's prospects of regaining the top job in Tampa.
QB Matt Hasselbeck - SEA - Hasselbeck hyperextended his right knee after being hit on the fourth play from scrimmage. He limped to the sidelines, but returned to action and finished 11-of-21 for 105 yards and an interception before being relieved late in the third quarter with New York ahead 37-6 and the game out of reach. "I dodged a bullet, I think, so I'm not overly concerned with that," Hasselbeck said after the game. An MRI has been scheduled for Monday.
QB Jon Kitna - DET - Kitna suffered back spasms on Sunday and was pulled in the second half. He was replaced by Dan Orlovsky. Kitna will be evaluated further as the week goes along. "It started in the first quarter," Kitna said. "A little back spasm at halftime. It just locked up, and really I tried to go back out but I couldn't really get out."
QB Matt Moore - CAR - Moore was dressed as the emergency third quarterback this past Sunday, as he continues to recover from his opening-week broken leg. He was inactive, but could have been called upon if necessary.
QB Dan Orlovsky - DET - Orlovsky suffered an ankle sprain on Sunday while playing in relief of Jon Kitna (back spasms). Some reports characterize the sprain as a dreaded "high" ankles sprain, but the severity is under further evaluation as of Monday.
QB Carson Palmer - CIN - Palmer was able to play pretty well despite a sore throwing arm elbow - "I felt good; I felt ready to play," Palmer said after the game.
QB Patrick Ramsey - DEN - Ramsey didn't play on Sunday (listed as probable to play despite a sore elbow - he was active but didn't play as Jay Cutler is the starter).
QB Aaron Rodgers - GB - Rodgers played through his injured shoulder on Sunday, but he was in obvious pain as the game progressed - Rodgers said his shoulder was "definitely painful" on Sunday; "I think Mike wanted to look into my eyes and see if I wanted to play, and I told him 'I want the ball. I want to be out there,'" Rodgers said. "Then I just knew I was going to have to deal with the pain."
QB Ben Roethlisberger - PIT - Roethelisberger played through his injured shoulder despite visibly tweaking the injury and suffering in the Jacksonville game - he hopes the bye week will help it to heal.
QB Matt Schaub - HOU - Schaub was dressed and in uniform on the sidelines, but he didn't get into the game Sunday.Schaub spent Saturday night in the hospital due to a viral infection. He arrived for the game and tried to convince Gary Kubiak to let him play. But Kubiak decided their best chance to win was with Sage Rosenfels. Schaub said he will be ready to play next Sunday. "I'm obviously drained," Schaub said after the game. "I haven't really been able to eat anything. Yesterday afternoon, the stomach bug got to me and it wasn't a very pretty 24 hours for me. I don't want to go into any details about that, but I had to replace a lot of fluids and try to get numerous IVs at the hospital. I felt like I was able to (play), but the energy just wasn't there."
QB Vince Young - TEN - Young watched from the sidelines as Kerry Collins remained the starter. (he was listed as probable with his knee on Friday, and did suit up, but did not play).
Running Back
RB B.J. Askew - TB - Askew missed the game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (hamstring).
RB Carey Davis - PIT - Davis missed the game as expected after being listed as doubtful on Friday due to his ankle injury.
RB DeDe Dorsey - CIN - Dorsey was cut before the game, after being listed as out on Friday (hamstring).
RB Ahman Green - HOU - Green finally played a full game for the Texans (as Steve Slaton's backup). "It's good to see him hold up for the whole game," coach Gary Kubiak said of Green. "He did some good things. He looked explosive again, so that's a positive for us."
RB Korey Hall - GB - Hall missed the game on Sunday due to his injured knee, as expected (he was listed as doubtful on Friday).
RB LaMont Jordan - NE - Jordan left the game in the first half with a right leg injury and did not return to action. He'll be evaluated further to determine the nature and severity of his injury, although it is not believed to be serious as of Monday morning.
RB Kregg Lumpkin - GB - Lumpkin missed another game on Sunday due to his injured hamstring, as expected (he was listed as doubtful on Friday).
RB Maurice Morris - SEA - Morris missed the game on Sunday after being listed as questionable on Friday due to his sore knee.
RB Willie Parker - PIT - Parker missed the game as expected after being listed as out on Friday due to his knee injury.
RB Chris Taylor - HOU - Taylor missed the game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (quadricep injury).
RB Marcus Thomas - DET - Thomas missed the game on Sunday due to his injured hamstring after being listed as doubtful on Friday.
RB LaDainian Tomlinson - SD - Tomlinson's injured right big toe limited his effectiveness on Sunday vs. Miami. "It bothered me," Tomlinson said. "When I got hit at times, it got stomped in the ground. It's something I expected. There's not really anything I can do about it." Tomlinson will be evaluated further as the week goes along - unfortunately for Tomlinson's fantasy clubs, this injury has become a nagging, recurring worry for Tomlinson. "Each week it's different," he added in other comments after the game. "It limits me in a lot of ways."
RB Ryan Torain - DEN - Torain missed the game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (elbow injury/broken arm).
RB Brian Westbrook - PHI - Westbrook suffered fractured ribs on the first drive of Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins. He was able to return to the game in the second quarter. Westbrook was also fighting through a sore ankle in order to play - Westbrook is pretty banged up right now. On Monday the Eagles revealed that Westbrook fractured 2 ribs in the game - the amount of time, if any, he'll be out isn't currently known, but this is obviously worrisome news for the Eagles and Westbrook owners.
Coach Andy Reid was asked if Westbrook would be able to play this Sunday and he was non committal. "We'll just have to see," the coach said. "We'll see how things go here the next few days. He's sore."
RB Selvin Young - DEN - Young suffered a strained left groin of undetermined severity on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
Wide Receiver
WR Anquan Boldin - ARI - Boldin missed the game on Sunday after surgery on his fractured sinus, as expected (he was listed as out on Friday).
WR Deion Branch - SEA - Branch, who had three catches for 31 yards on Sunday, left in the second half with an injury to his right heel. He left the stadium in a walking boot, saying he was OK - further evaluations are ongoing. "It's a heel injury, and that's all I know," Holmgren said after the game. "We'll know more tomorrow." Holmgren did admit that Branch may miss the next contest.
WR Chris Chambers - SD - Chambers, the Chargers' leader with five touchdowns, suffered an ankle sprain on the final play of the third quarter on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along - the severity of the sprain isn't known as of Monday morning."It's not too serious," Chambers said of the injury as he headed for the team bus. "I'm sure I've had this type of thing before."
WR Kevin Curtis - PHI - Curtis continues to miss games thanks to his sports hernia rehab (listed as doubtful on Friday).
WR Justin Gage - TEN - Gage missed the game on Sunday due to his injured knee (he was listed as doubtful on Friday).
WR Joey Galloway - TB - Galloway missed another game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (nagging foot injury).
WR Anthony Gonzalez - IND - Gonzalez left the game on Sunday with an unspecified injury and didn't return to action - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
WR D.J. Hackett - CAR - Hackett injured his knee in the first quarter of the game on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
WR Roy Hall - IND - Hall missed another game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (knee injury).
WR Domenik Hixon - NYG - Hixon had a great game against Seattle, but he was forced off the field with a concussion - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along and he'll have to pass the NFL's "baseline test" before taking contact again. Hixon indicated after the game that he felt "fine" and that he was removed as a precaution (the Giants were up big on the scoreboard).
WR Darrell Jackson - DEN - Jackson didn't play on Sunday due to his latest injury, a sore calf (listed as questionable on Friday).
WR Brandon Lloyd - CHI - Lloyd missed the game on Sunday as expected (knee, out on Friday).
WR Derrick Mason - BAL - Mason tweaked his left thumb during the game on Sunday, but the injury is thought to be minor - he'll be evaluated further just to be sure, but right now this doesn't look like a major issue going forward.
WR Roscoe Parrish - BUF - Parrish missed the game on Sunday as expected (thumb injury, out on Friday).
WR Koren Robinson - SEA - Robinson missed the game on Sunday after being listed as questionable on Friday due to his sore knee.
WR Laurent Robinson - ATL - Robinson missed another game due to his ongoing knee woes (he was listed as doubtful on Friday).
WR Ryne Robinson - CAR - Robinson was inactive (again) on Sunday due to his injured knee after being listed as questionable on Friday.
WR Eddie Royal - DEN - Royal sprained his right ankle on a third- quarter punt return and did not return Sunday. He'll be evaluated by the medical staff on Monday.
"I don't really know how bad it is," Royal said after the game, indicating the crutches he was using were a precaution. "I'm looking forward to rehabbing and getting back on the field as soon as possible."
WR Steve Smith - CAR - Smith's day was cut short by a hard hit in the fourth quarter on Sunday that seemed to aggravate an existing shoulder problem. He will be evaluated further as the week goes along.
WR Kelley Washington - NE - Washington was inactive on Sunday due to his injured ankle after being listed as doubtful on Friday.
Tight End
TE Mark Bruener - HOU - Bruener missed the game on Sunday after being listed as out on Friday (hamstring injury).
TE Derek Fine - BUF - Fine missed the game on Sunday as expected (hand, out on Friday).
TE Casey Fitzsimmons - DET - Fitzsimmons injured his elbow during the game on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further during the week.
TE Antonio Gates - SD - Gates continued to battle a hip stinger that is slowing him on game day. "Obviously there are some things I need to do physically," said Gates after the loss to Miami (he had one catch for 12 yards). "But once you decide to get on the field you have to put everything else behind you."

TE Leonard Pope - ARI - Pope is nursing an foot/ankle injury and hasn't been 100% over the past couple of games, though he is playing.
TE Tony Scheffler - DEN - Scheffler suffered a strained left groin of undetermined severity on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along. "We'll evaluate it tomorrow morning and see what the damage is," Scheffler said after the game.
TE Jerame Tuman - ARI - Tuman sat out of the game on Sunday due to his injured hamstring, after being listed as questionable on Friday.
TE Daniel Wilcox - BAL - Wilcox injured his hand during Baltimore's Week 5 game - the injury is considered minor as of Monday morning.
