"We're just going to keep working with Danny and see how far he can progress after three weeks, see where his maximum is, because he's worked at it, he's sharp, he knows what he's doing, " Marinelli said. "It's more of a week-to-week thing, evaluation after each game."

He injured his left foot in that game, then, before the preseason this year with the Broncos, he suffered a left elbow injury that required surgery. Torain is expected to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Kansas City police spokesman Darin Snapp said Johnson was charged Monday and turned himself in, later being released after posting a $500 bond. Jackson is sharing reps with the first team during 11-on-11 "team" periods today at Rams Park. Backs Antonio Pittman, Kenneth Darby and Travis Minor also are working with the No. 1 unit at running back. Jackson sat out last Sunday's game with a strained thigh muscle, and his status for the upcoming contest vs. Arizona is day-to-day, according to coach Jim Haslett.
