WR Plaxico Burress (NYG) didn't get any team drills in on Friday, but he did some individual work and is once again listed as questionable to play in the Super Bowl. "He ran a couple of slants," said HC Tom Coughlin. "He took a play in the 'green' zone, and that was about all we did with him." The concern is due to swelling in Burress' right knee. "He's improved," Coughlin added. "He's done it all year under all kinds of circumstances. We've just got to be hopeful he can do it one more time."

QB Brett Favre (GB) said despite reports that he'd be back for next season, he hasn't made a decision yet. "I haven't decided yet," said Favre. "We just played a little over a week ago. I'm going to take a few more weeks. Our coaching staff is coaching in the Pro Bowl next week. When they get done, [coach] Mike [McCarthy] and I . . . we'll just discuss it more in a couple weeks."

QB Tom Brady (NE) showed no signs of being hampered by his ankle as he appeared to move normally in Thursday's practice. He practiced fully.
*** Wednesday Update ***
QB Tom Brady (NE) was not listed on the injury report with his ankle. According to ESPN, a pool reporter from the Chicago Tribune was allowed to watch Patriots practice and reported that Brady was not heavily taped and moved "pretty well."
"Everybody practiced. They're fine," Patriots coach Bill Belichick said, according to ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.

RB LaDainian Tomlinson (SD) had an additional MRI on his left knee Tuesday that revealed playing just four snaps in the AFC Championship Game further damaged it. He will require additional time for his sprained MCL to heal, though he said surgery is still not required. He will miss the Pro Bowl.

WR Plaxico Burress (NYG) was held out of practice which isn't unusual compared to what he's done all season. Still, with a week off last week, there was some hope he might have been able to work Wednesday. "Hopefully, he'll work tomorrow," coach Tom Coughlin said.
Earlier in the week, Burress predicted a win for New York. He was asked about it later. "I don't understand what the fuss is about," Burress said, surrounded by TV cameras and microphones. "Nobody wants to lose.
"All this is entertainment. It's sports, and sports are entertainment. So 23-17 is the prediction I made, but the game still has to be played."
