1	Devin Hester, CHI - The rookie brought significant attention to the importance of the returner role, for the first time since Dante Hall scored return touchdowns in four consecutive games in 2003. Hester set the NFL record for most return TDs in a season with six (three punt returns, two kickoff returns, and one missed field goal return). He ran away with (no pun intended) the top fantasy returner ranking, despite not becoming the Bears' primary kickoff returner until the last third of the season.
2	Chris Carr, OAK - He placed second due to shear quantity and despite not scoring any TDs. He logged every punt return this year for the Raiders, and all but four of the kickoff returns. Oakland's' generous defense provided Carr with 69 kickoff returns, the most for any player in the league.
3	Pacman Jones, TEN - His three punt return TDs, second most punt return yards in the NFL, along with handling a quarter of the Titans' kickoff returns, all added up the a third place finish. In his second year, Jones proved to be the playmaker the team had hoped he would be.
4	Eddie Drummond, DET - He played in 14 games (which is pretty good given his injury track record), and like Chris Carr, ranked near the top despite not scoring any TDs. His combined punt and kickoff return yardage total was second in the NFL.
5	Dante Hall, KC - Devin Hester is off to a great start, but he'll need to sustain that success to become one of the all-time great returners… like Dante Hall. The 5th place finish means Hall has now been a top five fantasy returner for five years in a row. He scored on a punt return for his 11th career return touchdown. He is third all-time behind Brian Mitchell (13) and Eric Metcalf (12).
56	Darrent Williams, DEN - our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Darrent Williams, following his tragic death just hours after the 2006 season ended.
