The Ones 2 Watch is where we look at the top 15 Draft Eligible college players
in the country. Each week we will break down 5 QBs, 5 RBs, & 5 WRs These

future. The players are as follows:

Drew Stanton, Michigan State
Kyle Wright, Miami
JaMarcus Russell, LSU
Running Backs
Kenny Irons, Auburn
Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma
Marshawn Lynch, California
Mike Hart, Michigan
Lynell Hamilton, San Diego State
Wide Receivers
Dwayne Jarrett, USC

Quinn had one of his worst games as a collegiate QB, starting out of the game
3 for 13 and throwing an early INT that was returned for a TD to set the tone
of the game - which ended a 45-21 loss (and it wasn't that close). Brady is
no longer the Heisman front-runner, and will look to bounce back against Michigan
State this week. It will be interesting to see how Quinn responds to erratic
failure of a performance this week.
Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville Cardinals

Brohm found himself cheering on the sidelines at the end of the 31-7 trouncing
of Miami-Florida, as he suffered a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand. The
injury will cause Brian to miss 3-6 weeks and knock out of running in the wide
open Heisman race. Brohm tore through the Hurricane defense in the first half,
easily moving the offense before giving way in the third quarter to Hunter Cantwell,
a quality QB in his own right. Brohm has already had successful surgery to reattach
a ligament in the thumb.

Drew took over the game after Pitt opened up a 10 point lead in the first half.
He led the Spartans on four long drives in the second half, hurting the Panthers
with his arm and legs (running the option at times). This weekend you can compare
two of the top QB prospects in the 2007 draft class as Stanton squares off with
Brady Quinn and Notre Dame.

Kyle Wright is starting to become the fall guy for a struggling Hurricane team,
as he was chased around by the Cardinal defense in a decisive loss. He commented
on the team's possible wavering confidence and seemed to be looking for answers.
Wright and his team will be on bye this week and face an up and coming Houston
team on September 30. Wright has been playing better than his team's record
would indicate.

Russell had a solid game against a stifling Auburn defense. He had a chance
to win the game on the last drive of the fourth quarter after being shut down
all day, but clock management problems and a final completion short of the end
zone doomed LSU. The Bayou Bengals come home to play instate rival Tulane this
week in a game that should be a cakewalk.

Irons only average 2.8 yards per carry against the Bayou Bengals, but his 20
carries were enough to help seal the victory. It was a tough, defensive battle
all day, and Irons barely had any running room. He did show great patience and
decision making behind the line of scrimmage. He ran consistently, but could
never break a long run.

It was a very hard fought game against the Ducks this Saturday. A controversial
call on an onside kick led to the Ducks victory. But Adrian Peterson single-handedly
kept the Sooners in this ball game. Adrian was running with a lot of determination,
and looks to be back on track after a subpar 2005 season.

Marshawn had an awesome day versus the Vikings of Portland State. He finished
the game early, and had over 100 yards on just 6 carries. Early in the 2nd quarter
Lynch escaped some trash in the middle of the field, juked a couple of defenders
on his way to a 71-yard touchdown run. It was the longest of his career and
showed how truly explosive he can be.

Michigan laid the smack down on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Mike Hart
was a big reason why. It was Hart's 3rd 100-yard rushing day in a row. The Wolverines
need to get him the ball more often as they are 12-1 when he rushes for 100
yards or more. Hart showed great durability, garnering 31 carries, and still
had his trademark speed.

Hamilton had another bad day, this time against the Wisconsin Badgers. He was
held to only 1.7 yards per carry, and did not have any room to run. The 2006
season is not starting off very well for the Aztec runner. Look for Hamilton
to bounce back and reclaim his position as a prospect for NFL scout's to keep
an eye on.

Jarrett was dominant against the Cornhuskers, passing Mike Williams to become
the Trojans all-time leader in TD receptions. He responded well to criticism
from offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin after a lackluster performance in the
season opener vs. Arkansas, which should probably be chalked up to a thigh injury.

The Bearcats kept Ginn from making highlight reel plays, but he still hurt
them badly with two red zone TD catches. He still looks like the fastest player
on the field, and showed toughness vs. Cincinnati. He made two blocks on Antonio
Pittman's 48 yard TD run and showed he could work the middle of the field on
his TD catches.

Calvin was defanged by a knee injury vs. Troy, causing him to miss most of
the first half of the game. He did not seem like himself when he played in the
second half and missed practice Monday - possibly depriving a national TV audience
of his talents on Thursday vs. Virginia.

Losing starting QB Blake Mitchell to a suspension brought on by an arrest did
not derail Rice, and he and new QB Syvelle Newton hooked up for 151 yards. Rice
thought he did not have a good game, but his deep one handed catch in the first
half left many shaking their heads in disbelief.

Hill helped Wazzou win with a 13 yard TD catch in the first half - atoning
for a dropped sure TD earlier in the game. Hill has been playing well, but may
struggle to improve his midround draft standing assessed before the 2006 draft
next to these outstanding underclassmen.
