Quarterback

Hasselbeck missed the game on Sunday due to his sprained MCL, as expected. He was listed as out on Friday.
Huard fought through a sore groin to play his best pro game on Sunday - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along, but Trent Green isn't expected back yet so if he can play he'll get the nod again in the next game.

Simms continues to miss games due to his spleenectomy, as expected. He expects to miss the rest of the season due to this injury/surgery/rehab - "They kind of told me from the start it would be anywhere from a 10- to 12-week injury," Simms said. "You've just got to deal with the reality of the situation. Of course, I'm a little disappointed."
Wright missed the game on Sunday as expected (appendectomy, out).
Running Back
Alexander missed Sunday's game due to his fractured foot (he was listed as doubtful on Friday). He's hoping for a return this week.
Ayanbadejo missed the game on Sunday due to his fibula injury (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Tatum Bell was limited Sunday due to complications stemming from his ongoing turf toe injury. He aggravated the injury last week during the week 7 game but practiced fully heading into the week 8 game and seemed like it was not an issue. Once the game got underway against Indianapolis, he was unable to make the necessary cuts and yielded the primary ball carrying responsibility to Mike Bell (who responded with a great game). Tatum Bell will be further evaluated this week and the team will try to digest exactly what Mike Bell's great game means for playing time.
Bush suffered a left ankle injury during the game on Sunday, and was unable to finish the game. Initial indications are that his ankle is OK - "The (x-rays) were negative, so he is alright and that is fortunate," coach Sean Payton said. We'll see how the ankle responds/swells starting on Monday - Bush owners will want to monitor his practice status later during week 9. "I just sprained my ankle a little bit," Bush said after the game. "It hurt at the time, obviously, but it's feeling better now."
Cobbs' sore ankle landed him on the inactive list despite being probable on Friday.
Haynes is reportedly lost for the season due to a knee injury sustained on Sunday. "I think we probably lost Verron and Arnold Harrison for the year." said Coach Cowher after the game. Duce Staley is likely to make it onto the active list in the wake of Haynes' injury.
Hicks suffered a concussion on Sunday and is considered questionable for the team's next game.
