Quarterback
Brooks injured his shoulder (sprained rotator cuff in his throwing arm) early in the game on Sunday, and did not return to game action. An MRI is scheduled for Monday. If healthy, he'll remain the starter, according to coach Shell.
Green sat out of the game on Sunday as expected (concussion, out on Friday).
Running Back
Barber had his right knee iced and wrapped after the game on Sunday. The injury is considered minor as of Monday, but Barber owners will want to check his practice time/injury status later in the week just to be safe. There are also reports that Barber has a bruised left arm being evaluated further on Monday.
Cobbs suffered a badly sprained right ankle to open overtime on Sunday, and did not return to action. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along, but the initial indications are not good. He is on crutches as a result of the injury.
Daniels missed the game on Sunday, despite being listed as probable on Friday's injury report (thigh injury).
Dorsey was unable to play on Sunday due to his injured ankle (out on Friday's injury report).
Fason was inactive on Sunday despite being listed as probable on Friday (shoulder).
Goings sat out on Sunday due to his injured thigh (listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Hall was inactive on Sunday due to his injured ankle (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Henry was inactive on Sunday due to his turf toe injury.
Jordan twisted an ankle during the game on Sunday but returned to action - the injury is considered minor at this time.
Joseph has been placed on IR due his sprained MCL (right knee).
Karney missed the game on Sunday, as expected (listed as out on Friday). He is expected to miss 1-3 more games due to his strained right calf - FB Corey McIntyre joined the Saints when FB Keith Joseph was placed on IR last week.
Mahe was active, but did not play on Sunday, after being listed as questionable on Friday due to his sore ankle.
Portis missed the game on Sunday due to soreness in his injured shoulder, although coach Gibbs said that it was in a different location than the previous injury. He was listed as doubtful on Friday. "We've just got to get the soreness out of there," Gibbs commented. "We'll see at what point he can bounce back and practice."
Smith had a hand x-rayed after the game, although no injury was reported by the coaching staff. Given the injuries along the OL, it would be a further blow to the team if Smith was injured...
Ward missed the game on Sunday due to his injured foot (he was listed as out on Friday).
Westbrook, who played well on Sunday in spite of a mid-week knee issue, had swelling in the joint as of Monday afternoon - the injury will be further evaluated, but at this point it is clear that the joint was irritated by the action on Sunday. Keep an eye on his injury status later this week, as well as his participation in practices (or lack thereof).
Wide Receiver
Bodiford was inactive on Sunday as expected (knee, out on Friday's injury report).
Booker reportedly tweaked his ankle on Sunday - but he played and caught 3/33/0.
Brown reportedly tweaked a hamstring at the end of the game on Sunday - the injury doesn't appear important as of Monday morning.
Chatman missed the game on Sunday due to his injured groin - he was listed as out on Friday.
Dwight missed the game on Sunday due to his injured thigh (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Gage missed the game on Sunday due to his aching ribs (listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Houshmandzadeh continues to miss time due to a lingering heel injury (he was listed as questionable this week). He has been unable to pratice for a couple of weeks due to this ongoing heel issue.
Jackson played in the game on Sunday and his hamstring appears to be healed (2/42/1 receiving on Sunday). He said after the game "A hamstring, that injury takes time to heal. And that’s what I did, tried to take my time, and it took a long time for it to get down and get healed."
Jacobs suffered a hamstring injury in the game on Sunday and is questionable for the next contest as of Monday.
Johnson suffered a bruised right shoulder early in the game vs. Cleveland, and then a cut chin/concussion late in the game on a hard hit from S Brian Russell. Carson Palmer commented "I talked to Chad. He's a little loopy. He took a shot to the head. He's a little out of it, but he'll come to his senses." Receivers' coach Hue Jackson had to assist Johnson in the showers and help him to dress, and a team trainer drove him home. The severity of this concussion will be assessed further as the week goes on, but the initial reports make it look like more than a minor issue.
Jurevicius missed the game on Sunday as expected (ribs, out on Friday). However, he did get some good news mid-week last week, discovering that his ribs were not broken (but very bruised and sore).
McCardell suffered a minor tweak to a hamstring on Sunday - the injury isn't considered serious.
Owens suffered a broken finger early in the game on Sunday, but stayed in for most of the game, assuming it was a jammed finger - but x-rays revealed a break. "I'll have surgery within the next day or so and they'll probably put some pins in there," Owens commented. "I could be out anywhere from two to four weeks, but I think I'm a quick healer."
Perry sprained his right ankle on Sunday (the severity of the sprain is not yet clear).
Rector missed the game on Sunday due to his injured ankle (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Robinson tweaked his hamstring on Sunday, but returned to action - the injury is considered minor as of Monday.
Smith suffered a concussion on Sunday (one in a series of concussions dating back to September 26th last season, 3 in all over the past year). "I don't want to talk about them, either," Smith said after the game. "It happens. It's part of the game." Smith will be evaluated further as the week goes along, as side-effects from concussions can appear days after the initial injury.
Smith missed the second regular season game due to ongoing struggles with a pulled hamstring. He was listed as questionable on Friday, but didn't travel with the team to Minnesota.
Stokley played and caught a TD during the game on Sunday, but aggravated his left ankle injury (sprain) and was unable to finish the game. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along - it appears the ankle is becoming an ongoing issue, though.
Walker did not play on Sunday as expected (shoulder, out on Friday).
White suffered a rib injury during the game on Sunday and did not return to action. The severity of the injury is not clear as of Monday.
Williamson sprained his left shoulder during the game on Sunday, but returned in a shoulder harness to make some key plays later in the game. Said coach Childress after the game "He's learned how to grind it out a little bit. Sometimes those elite athletes don't fight through a little 'owie,' a little hamstring, a little bump, a little bruise. He's a football player." Childress characterized the injury as minor on Monday.
Tight End
Dinkins missed the game on Sunday as expected (hamstring, out on Friday).
Fitzsimmons was inactive on Sunday as expected (wrist, out on Friday's injury report).
Hartsock missed another game due to his sore hamstring (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Kinney was out on Sunday due to his injured knee.
Krause's sore hamstring landed him on the inactive list on Sunday (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Mili suffered a knee injury and had to be carted off the field. He will be evaluated further on Monday (Mili is the last active veteran TE on the roster due to Jerramy Stevens knee injury). The severity of the injury is unclear as of Monday morning.
Mills missed the game on Sunday due to symptoms of the flu.
Moore sat out of Sunday's game due to his injured ribs (listed as out on Friday).
Reid missed the game on Sunday due to his injured back (listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Shea's back injury kept him on the sidelines on Sunday (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Shockey aggravated a right ankle injury during the game on Sunday. Shockey, listed as probable before the game, missed all of the overtime period and a part of regulation. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along - his owners will want to keep an eye on his progress/practice time as the week goes along. "He just keeps wearing it down," head coach Tom Coughlin commented after the game. "The one thing that was good was last week at this time it was the same and then he got better each day during the course of the week."
Smith suffered a sprained shoulder during the game on Sunday. The severity of the sprain is under evaluation.
Stevens continues to miss games due to his torn knee cartilage, as expected. He probably won't be back on the field for a few more weeks.
Kicker
Vinatieri suffered tightness in his groin during the last part of the game vs. Houston, and did not finish the game. His injury is being evaluated further as of Monday."Adam had a groin that just kept getting sorer and sorer as we went," Dungy commented after the game. "Hopefully he'll be OK next week."
Offensive Line
G Larry Allen (knee, out) and T Jonas Jennings (ankle, questionable) were both inactive on Sunday due to their injuries.
G Justin Smiley suffered a left shoulder dislocation on Sunday, but stayed in the game. An MRI is scheduled for Monday."My arm was like a wet noodle," (before it slid back into the socket) he said after the game.
T Levi Jones missed the game on Sunday due to his injured ankle (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
C Rich Braham suffered a sprained left knee during the game on Sunday, the severity of which is under evaluation. His backup is Eric Ghiaciuc, if Braham is unavailable next week - the team is calling the injury a "deep knee bruise" - reports are somewhat confused as of Monday afternoon.
G Davin Joseph missed the game on Sunday due to ongoing knee problems (he was listed as out on Friday).
T Oliver Ross was active but did not play on Sunday (listed as probable due to a knee injury on Friday's injury report).
T Leander Jordan missed the game on Sunday due to his sore neck (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
G Ryan Lilja was unable to play on Sunday due to his sore knee (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).

RG Bennie Anderson suffered an injury believed to be a triceps tear during Sunday's game. The severity of the injury is not yet clear. G Joe Berger has missed the first two weeks of games and practice due to a mid-foot sprain and is one of backups at G who has been hobbled in recent weeks due to injury.
G Shawn Andrews strained his shoulder during the game on Sunday - the injury will be evaluated further as the week goes along.
LT Wayne Gandy left the game on Sunday due to an unspecified injury. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.

LT Orlando Pace suffered what may be a serious concussion during the game on Sunday - he left the game and did not return to action. The severity of the injury is being further evaluated as of Monday morning. With C Andy McCollum already out for the season due to a knee injury, the Rams line is taking some significant early blows, and being forced to juggle the lineup. Pace may be out at least one week, depending on the severity of the concussion.
OT Jonathan Ogden hyperextended a knee during the game, but the injury isn't considered serious. "I should be fine for next week," he said after the game.
LG Floyd Womack suffered a knee injury during the game on Sunday, but it wasn't considered a critical issue according to coach Holmgren: "Pork Chop probably could have come back in the game in an emergency situation."
LT Charles Spencer has been lost for the season due to a broken tibia (lower leg bone) in his left leg.
T Jacob Bell missed the game on Sunday due to his injured toe (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Defensive Line

Later Monday, reports indicated that Kearse is out for the season due to severe sprains to the MCL and the ACL in his knee.

Odom was out on Sunday due to his injured knee, as expected.
Olshansky's knee injury kept him inactive on Sunday (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).

Linebacker
Darling hurt his right calf early in the game Sunday - early indications are it could be a season-ending injury. He will undergo an MRI today, and be evaluated further after the results come back.
Grigsby was sidelined due to a foot injury (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Harris suffered a minor quadriceps injury on Sunday, but it isn't expected to limit him.
Hartwell was unable to play on Sunday due to his injured knee (listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Hillenmeyer was inactive on Sunday due to his recent concussion (listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Keiaho missed the game on Sunday due to his injured knee (out on Friday).
On Sunday, Lewis suffered what is characterized as a "serious" sprain to his left knee - the injury is being further evaluated as of Monday.
McGinest was active, but did not play on Sunday - he was listed as probable on Friday due to a calf injury.
Morgan missed the game on Sunday due to his most recent concussion (listed as out on Friday). Morgan has a history of problems with concussions, and had just recovered from one suffered during pre-season when he took this latest injury. A date for his return to the field is not set - this is his 5th known concussion since joining the Panthers.

Pollack suffered a neck injury early in the game on Sunday - the severity of the injury is being further evaluated as of Monday morning. However, the team was characterizing the injury as a "significant neck injury" after the game - Pollack left the game on a cart and is in the hospital as of Monday. Pollack did not suffer paralysis and was reported to be lucid after leaving the field. Footballguys' best wishes for a full recovery from this injury. Doctors believe that keeping Pollack in a "halo brace" - which immobilizes the neck - will allow the injury to heal without surgery. Pollack is headed to IR and will not play for the rest of '06, however.
Pope injured his hamstring during the game and was on crutches after the injury. He looks like he'll be sidelined for awhile, although evaluations are onging.

Spikes was inactive on Sunday due to his injured hamstring (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Tinoisamoa dislocated his elbow during the game on Sunday - the injury will be further evaluated, but at first glance it looks like a potentially serious injury.

Kelly was listed as probable despite his sore foot on Friday, but was inactive on Sunday. "It just didn’t feel good," he said. "For me, it’s a situation where I’ve got to feel comfortable putting it in the ground and planting. If I played another position, I’d probably be able to handle it. But the fact that every play I’m cutting and planting, I’ve got to be able to put it in the ground and have that confidence in it and I didn’t feel good about it."
