Quarterback
In a non-playoff related note, FOX Sports is reporting that Favre is going to undergo surgery to remove bone spurs in his ankles right away and that the surgery's success/the prospect of a long and arduous rehab on the ankles may impact his decision on his status for 2007.
Trent Green suffered a sprained left ankle during the game vs. the Jaguars, but returned to action after having it heavily taped. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
Rivers injured his right foot during a sack in the first quarter on Sunday. He missed one play, then returned to throw 2 TDs in the game before taking a seat on the bench for the later parts of the game. "To me, it's not the biggest news of the day," Rivers said of the injury. "To me, it'll be a non-issue come two weeks from now. Whatever it may be, you don't want to make it worse. I think that was more the case than anything. Had this game been for all the marbles, I'd probably still been going." Rivers was visibly limping for much of the game before being pulled - he'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
Running Back
Barlow was inactive on Sunday due to a thigh injury (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Buckhalter suffered a calf strain in the first quarter. He didn't return to action. "I don't think they (Juqua Thomas also injured a calf - MW) are too bad, but we will see how they are [Monday]," coach Reid said.
Bush was pulled from the game on Sunday to get some well-deserved rest before the playoffs - he was not injured. "I definitely feel like I'm getting stronger," Bush said after the game. "Deuce and I have been splitting carries all season, and it's helped to keep us fresh. I don't feel like I've hit the quote-unquote rookie wall."
Faulk missed the game on Sunday due to his injured knee (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
McAllister was inactive on Sunday to rest him for the playoffs. He was not on the injury report on Friday.

Shockey was inactive on Saturday, as expected (ankle, out on Friday). "We're going to have to progress and see." stated coach Coughlin after the game. "We left him (in New Jersey) so that he could get continuous treatment and would not be standing on it, to the point that we'd have a good chance of getting the swelling down. We're very hopeful. But I wouldn't be able to tell you that right now."
Watson sat out another game on Sunday due to his injured knee (he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
In a non-playoff related note, it appears that Winslow II will require more off-season surgery on his previously repaired knee (arthroscopic surgery to clean out scar tissue in the knee torn up in the motorcycle accident in 2005). "I've got a lot of room for improvement and I could've broken a lot of tackles [Sunday] if I was just a little healthier. I don't have much strength in my legs right now, so I've got to work hard in the off-season and get my legs back underneath me and get my balance. I'm really just playing on my left leg, so it's kind of hard sometimes." commented Winslow after the season finale.

"As far as I knew, I was going in, but at the last minute Nick was all right," said Wade Smith, a veteran backup who prepared to step in for Mangold. "As long as he's healthy, he's going to play." Smith did play a few snaps for RG Brandon Moore, who left the game with a minor knee injury in the first quarter. Moore returned for the following drive.
