Bulger revealed after the game on Sunday that he's been playing through a bruised rib for the past 3-4 weeks. A hard shot from Bryant Young aggravated the injury during the game on Sunday - "I've had a bruised rib," Bulger said. "And he got me right on the spot. So it pretty much knocked the wind out of me, and I couldn't breathe. I couldn't get up." Bulger said he has taken pain-killing shots for the rib injury "three or four weeks in a row now."
Culpepper continues to miss games as expected (knee, out on Wednesday).
Favre, coming off an ulnar nerve injury and a hand contusion on his throwing arm, will start as usual against Seattle on Monday Night Football. "Would I be surprised if he wasn't 100 percent? I don't think that's really the key thing here," Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren said. "I've seen him get hurt worse than that. And he comes back and plays...With Brett, you always know two things, You always know he's going to play, and you always know he's going to play well."

Matt Hasselbeck will play in the Monday Night game vs. Green Bay - he will wear a brace on the right knee he sprained against Minnesota 36 days ago. Pennington gave the Jets a scare when he landed awkwardly on his surgically repaired shoulder during the game on Sunday - but he didn't appear to injure the joint, staying on the turf due to having the wind knocked out of him. "I just wanted to breathe," Pennington said, "The simple things in life. Let's just breathe right now and we can worry about the shoulder later...I thought I wasn't going to make it. If anybody ever had that happen, you know it's the worst feeling in the world. You're sitting there like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm not going to make it.' Right here on the football field. But things worked out well."
